CPA members, guests and stakeholders were welcomed to the CPA Annual Lunch at the historic Guildhall by CPA Chair Nikki Dibley (Senior Development Executive, Helical).
In her speech, she reflected on the City’s role in driving growth and highlighted the strength and breadth of CPA’s policy and research work over the past year, alongside the importance of culture and placemaking in shaping the success of the Square Mile.
This was followed by a keynote address from Tom Sleigh, Chairman of the City of London Corporation’s Planning and Transportation Committee. Tom shared what continues to draw him to the Square Mile. From heritage sitting seamlessly alongside modern architecture, to keeping historic buildings in active use, his remarks captured what makes the City so unique.
A vote of thanks was delivered by newly elected CPA Vice Chair Simon Swietochowski (Development Director, BNP Paribas Asset Management Alts).
