Connected Growth: The City, Fringe & Canary Wharf

01 July 2026 to 01 Jul 2026
8:00 am to 10:00 am

Hosted at Dials – Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Greycoat Real Estate’s redevelopment in the City Fringe – this seminar explored how the City Fringe and Canary Wharf are evolving alongside the Square Mile to support London’s future growth.

An opening market update from Alastair Brown (International Partner at Cushman & Wakefield) highlighted resilient occupier demand across central London and the growing importance of high-quality workspace in well-connected locations.

This was followed by a panel discussion examining how these areas can support a more diverse and resilient occupier base, the role of the Elizabeth line in strengthening connections between business districts and how changing occupier expectations are shaping demand for high-quality, amenity-rich workplaces. Speakers also discussed the continued evolution of these locations into mixed-use destinations that combine workspace with culture and leisure.

Our speakers were:

  • Alastair Brown, International Partner & Head of Offices Sector UK, Cushman & Wakefield
  • Adrian Bunnis, CPA Board & Chairman, Greycoat Real Estate
  • Nikki Dibley, CPA Chair & Senior Development Executive, Helical (panel chair)
  • Dan Higginson, Director, Greycoat Real Estate
  • John Mulqueen, Chief Investment Officer, CWG
  • Deborah Saunt, CPA Board & Director, DSDHA
