On Tuesday 5 June, CPA members attended a drinks reception and tour of the newly refurbished The Minster Building. The reception was kindly hosted by the development team: Buckley Grey Yeoman, Greycoat and Ivanhoé Cambridge.
Attendees heard from James Greenaway, Associate Director at Buckley Gray Yeoman and Dan Higginson, Director at Greycoat about the transformation of this 1980s City icon. James and Dan explained the dramatic repositioning of the 315,000 sq ft commercial building, including the reworking of the eight storey atrium, which stands 70 metres high flooding all floors with natural light.
Throughout the evening Brewdog beers were served to celebrate the new bar and microbrewery Brewdog has opened on the ground floor of the building. It is the largest Brewdog bar outside of the United States and is one of many new additions in the City helping to turn the Square Mile into a vibrant destination for leisure and culture.
CPA members finished the evening with guided tours to see newly installed features for ensuring the Minster Building is ready for a new generation of occupiers.
