Our upcoming CPA Autumn Reception, hosted by British Land at its Norton Folgate development, will feature a keynote address from Katie Stewart, the new Executive Director for Environment of the City of London Corporation.
In her first address to CPA members since her appointment, Katie will discuss the City of London Corporation’s plans to future-proof the Square, including its commitment to restoring and upgrading the City’s historic environment as it progresses towards a net zero future.
This blend of heritage and modernity, characteristic of the Square Mile, is exemplified by British Land’s Norton Folgate. Spanning 330,000 sq ft of sensitively restored Georgian and Victorian buildings alongside new build, medium-rise blocks, the development embraces the rich history of the area whilst remaining ambitious in its approach to sustainability, targeting operational net-zero status by 2030.
The reception will also include drinks, canapes and tours of the site.
