Connecting talent: The launch of a NextGen European Task Force

11 May 2021
4:00 pm to 5:00 pm

In usual times, the City of London’s young workforce is the lifeblood of the area. With 61% of City workers aged between 22-39 and around 40% born overseas, the City has the youngest and one of the most diverse workforces in the UK. How can we ensure that diverse and international talent remains attracted to working in the City now Britain has left the EU? Has the pandemic and the shift to remote working created any opportunities for attracting a wide talent pool to London?

This webinar gives viewers the chance to hear more about the CPA NextGen’s plans for the formation of a NextGen European Talent Task Force, its key priorities and ambitions. Our expert panel discuss the impacts that Brexit has had on the real estate sector and the ability to access to international talent; the role of educational institutions in preparing the next generation to share ideas to enrich their professional knowledge; and the importance of maintaining pan-European connections and collaborative opportunities for the built environment as we look towards the future.

The session also provides NextGen members with tailored advice to develop their skill set through gaining and exchanging knowledge across borders.
