CPA members and stakeholders are invited to join us for an evening reception celebrating the City of London’s achievements and the contribution of those shaping its future.
The event will feature a keynote address from Chris Hayward, Policy Chairman of the City of London Corporation, who will reflect on his time in office as he enters the final six months of his five-year tenure. Taking office as the City emerged from the pandemic, his leadership has been pivotal in driving forward its economic growth ambitions, including through the City Corporation’s Destination City strategy, and strengthening its appeal as a place to work, invest and visit.
Today, the City generates more than £113 billion in annual economic output and accounts for one in every 48 British jobs, with its success extending far beyond the Square Mile to support businesses, communities and prosperity across the country. The event will celebrate the people, places and investment behind the City’s built environment, while providing an opportunity to hear from one of its most influential leaders.
The event will be hosted at BNPP AM Alts’ 22 Bishopsgate, London’s biggest, and the City’s tallest built skyscraper. At 1.275 million sq ft, the building is home to more than 30 businesses and can accommodate up to 12,000 workers. Its 150,000 sq ft of shared spaces and amenities, include restaurants and bars, a food market and Horizon 22, Europe’s highest free public viewing gallery.
