CITY CORPORATION AND CPA RESEARCH LAUNCH RECEPTION

18 Feb 2019

On Tuesday evening, our annual research report with the City of London Corporation was launched to members.

Locate, Create and Innovate – London in a Changing World report examines the link between jobs and place and how businesses are innovating and adapting in response to the rise of tech and other global challenges. In our current political and economic climate London’s future success depends on remaining ahead of the curve and this report shows what businesses are doing to make that happen.

In the report’s foreword, CPA President David Ainsworth says “It is clear that the speed at which modern businesses are changing, and innovating, is a challenge that London is rising to. An increasing offer of cultural, leisure and retail experiences, historic buildings and emerging neighbouring districts, all provide a unique ecosystem supporting a global and innovative City.”

The launch reception on Tuesday included an opening address by Deputy Alastair Moss (Deputy Chairman of the Planning and Transportation Committee at the City of London Corporation) before a presentation on the report’s key findings by Dr Laura Davison, Head of Research at the City of London Corporation. Many thanks to HubHub for the kind hospitality at 20 Farringdon Street
