As the City plans for continued growth and the transition to net zero, securing sufficient investment for new offices, infrastructure and large-scale retrofit projects remains a significant challenge.
Innovative financial products could help unlock investment at scale, with the Green Finance Institute (GFI) estimating that the emerging UK Property Linked Finance (PLF) market alone could be worth between £90 billion and £147 billion. The opportunity is significant, with commercial and residential retrofit investment across the UK estimated to exceed £1 trillion over the next decade.
This seminar will explore how new financing models could support investment, resilience and sustainable growth, and the role they might play in accelerating the transition to net zero.
The event will take place at Stanhope and Mitsubishi Estate’s 8 Bishopsgate, the first tower of its kind in London to achieve BREEAM Outstanding.
Date: Thursday 24 September
Time: 8:00am – 10:00am
