London is the number one destination for headquarter investment. From tech giants to small start-ups, companies continue to choose to locate their HQs to London. London Property Alliance (CPA and WPA) members are invited to the research launch of London: HQ City.
This key report, produced by Centre for London and co-sponsored by London Property Alliance, Heathrow Airport and London & Partners explores London’s position as a centre for global and European headquarters, and whether it can be sustained in a post-Brexit world.
Lisa Webb, WPA Board member and Head of Development (London portfolio) at Landsec, said of the report:
“London is where people and businesses – ranging from tech start-ups to global corporations – want to be. Its world-class spaces for work, exciting cultural and retail offer and fantastically productive business eco-systems – means that London continues to be the HQ City in a digital age.”
At the launch, Centre for London will present the findings of the research followed by an expert panel discussing the importance of corporate HQs to London’s prosperity; how they benefit the capital and wider UK; and the long-term strengths and vulnerabilities of London as a HQ hub.
